Central Credit Registrar (CCR)
The Central Credit Register is the new database for credit and personal information for loans of €500 or more. It has been set up by the Central Bank of Ireland under the Credit Reporting Act 2013.
From 30 June 2017, organisations such as banks, credit unions and other lenders who provide consumer loans, must start giving details of these loans to the Central Credit Register.
